The Walking Dead Fan Club

Allright we are going to play a game where we start a story and then any member can continue it making one aweosme story. Keep it to 2 paragraphs at most. Don't write a huge story. I will start.

It was that time of night when it stopped being late and started being early. I looked at the clock but my sleepiness kept me from reading it clearly. It couldn't be that early, not with all the noise that was going on. It was either the screams or the sound of the explosion that woke me up I am not sure. Terror set in quickly but my fight response took over. I bolted from my bed and into my living room. Out the window I saw....

As I ran upstairs to see what the commotion was about I seen that my wife's eyes were dripping a thick gooey substance, reddish like blood. The closer I got to her the more I realized it was blood. Oh my god what the hell is going on I thought, Amanda!! what is wrong? she fell to the floor screaming in agony, I yelled at my daughter to call the police, but the phone lines were down.

Amanda began to convulse. Her eyes rolled back into her head showing the snowy white nothingness of her lifeless eye balls. Violent tremors shook her entire body while thick soupy blood splattered the surrounding carpet. Just as soon as it began the fit quit. She lay face down silent and still. I reached out to touch her and....

She quickly rose up straight from the floor, she looked at me with those marbled eyes, Amanda? I questioned she replied with a moan that seemed to generate from the very depths of hell itself..muuuunggghhhaaaa! Oh jesus please be a nightmare i thought,

Just as I looked up she lunged at me trying to scratch and bite at me with any means possible.  I shoved her back realizing that this is no longer my beloved Amanda.  I slammed the door shut and ran downstairs to check on the kids to be sure they were ok.

I burst through the doorway and shouted "Sarah, Ethan, get up now! We have to leave!" Sarah was sobbing and saying that Ethan wouldn't wake up. I tryed to get him up, but he was already dead, I grabbed Sarah by the wrist and headed out to the garage. As we pulled out of the driveway we saw...

Amanda crashing though the upstaris window!  She hit the gound like a dead body falling.  Her body layed there for a minute then she got up and started heading toward the car.  Sarah shouted "Mom hurry we got to go"  I told her thats not mom anymore as I backed out of the driveway and took off down the street.

I looked over at sarah and could see she was even more shook up then me, WTF is going on! I started sobbing, as we sped down the street unsure of our destination, was this some weird virus or did hell unleash itself upon us? My god I just lost wife and son, my only instinct right now is to protect my daughter and myself.

I told Sarah "Everything is going to be alright" eventhough deep down I knew things would never be the same.  I thought to myself as were driving that the best place to go right now would be my brothers house he only lives a few blocks away and mabye he knows whats going on.

I pulled into steves driveway only to notice he was on the front lawn eating his dog? I now knew that hell had taken over, my brother steve loved that dog and this was not my brother, UNCLE STEVEN sarah yelled, shhhh, oh shit he noticed us, He came lumbering towards us in a somewhat mechanical fashion. I backed up and sped off once again, 

First Amanda now Steve both people close to us gone insane somehow. I don't know whats going on but everything seems in chaos. Sarah started to break down crying uncontrolably screaming "WHY... WHY... WHATS GOING ON"  I try to comfort her by saying "ill get us to a safe place I promise" Unfortunatly I don't know where the hell that is anymore.

We steadly make our way out of the city. Everywhere I look there is death and destruction. People ran to our car screaming for help but I can't be their saviour. Not here. Not now. Racking my brain to come up with a destination, I decide to head for the nearby state park. It is only a two hour drive from here. "We are going to the state park sweetie," I said. "We should be safe there." As I utter those words, desperetly hoping them to be a true, a car.....

swerves from the opposite side of the road heading toward us! I slam on the breaks and swerve and just missed a near head on collision. The other car runs off the road and into the trees. Sarah says "Are those people Ok" I said "probably not" and kept on our way to the state park. As we coming up near the park it seems to be smoky in the area and we see....

A burning pile of wreckage that was once a plane. Dozens of  "people" were grouped around the plane, screaming and clawing their way in. I hit the gas as hard as I could and took off down the road. After a few minutes I see a light fall from the sky and then a massive explosion a few hundred yards down the road.

I slam on the breaks to see what happens.  We see a fireball rise into the sky from where the explosion was. It feels like were stuck in a horror movie or twisted comic book of some kind and we can't get out.  Fires are burning all around us and it seems most of the park is going up in flames. Mabye driving out here wasn't such a good idea afterall. We see a headlights coming though the smoke from near the explosion.

As it comes closer I notice it is a park ranger jeep. It is coming awfully fast. I flash my lights to flag him down to see what is going on. He speeds right past me. I turn and watch him drive off wondering how someone could just ignore us. It was then that I saw hundreds of fiery demons following him from where the explosion just happend. These people who used to be people now turned into flaming death. I couldn't turn around. I had to....

...Where am I? The last thing I remember I was driving away with Sarah and then...nothing. I look up and see the car twenty feet away, with the front end wrapped around a tree. Christ, I hurt everywhere and my forehead is bleeding badly. I realize Sarah isn't in sight  and shout for her. I hear her moaning inside the car and rush to her, "Sarah, are you alright?" Her face is covered in blood and she says "I think my leg is broken."

"C'mon, I'll help you, we have to go now!"

All the sudden I see bright lights.. Its the Park ranger jeep pulling up to us.  I hear a mans voice yell "Are you guys alright we gotta get you into this jeep quick"  I told him Sarahs leg is broken.  We both grab her she screams in pain as we lift her up into the jeep.  We see the flaming dead coming at us as we pull out as quick as we can.  He says "Theres a first aid kit under the seat.  I saw you trying to flash me down after the explosion but I was going so fast I had to slow down before I could turn around.  When I did I see you run off the road." I told him " Thank you for stopping you saved our lives."  He started to tell us about...

how our town turned to shit in a matter of minutes after the weapons facility he worked at accidently detonated a rapid aerial virus bomb that was meant to totally annihilate a 500 square mile radius, I could not believe what I was hearing, but that did not matter now what mattered is us getting to safety but from what the good scientist was informing me of is that  a total clear-out by a nuke was sure to follow when the government finds out.
