Eugene may not be my favorite character but these two deserve some more characterization, in my opinion.  I would like to find out more about them before they become zombie fodder.  Abraham is so well thought out.  I would like to see what it is he sees, or saw in Eugene's case, in the two of them.  Things have been moving at a rapid pace, so we really haven't found out much about these two and how they react to certain situations.  I hope they both make it into the safe zone and we get to spend some quality tie with them.  Eugene is one of those characters that I don't like at first but come to grow on me like reed from Criminal Minds.  When I first started watching that show, I didn't care for Reed, now he's one of my favorites.  Eugene has some shit  goig on.  He is smart, maybe there's more to him than meets the eye.  Yeah, I just finished watching Transformers 2--bad movie, btw.  So what about the rest of you?  Any fans of the Eugene man and Rosita?

Yes. Rosita is my favorite character. And my only wish is to see her develop more and have some great story arcs in the Safezone.

I think she has a lot of potential.  She kept Abe at bay when he thought he might killagain.  She has a comforting affect on Abe and that's important.  I'm sure htere's more to her than meets the eye.  I don't want to see her killed off, either, at least, not until we learn more about her.  I'm tiring of character deaths as it is.  Let these guys and glas live for a little while.  I'm sure with time, I'll come to appreciate Gabriel, as well, and currently, he just bugs the eff out of me.  A good writer like Kirkman can change my opinion on any character and I don't dislike Rosita... I just don't know much about her yet.

You've made me reevaluate Rosita.  In all the panic and action, I'd missed the subtlties of the character.  I sometime pass over the artwork when doing my speed-reads, a bad practice to be sure, but I'm starting to se e your pov.  Maybe she can bring some calm to the group as a whole.  Its easy to get lost in the crowd with Michonne hacking everybody apart.:)

there still must be something to rosita and maggie that i'm not seeing.  i'm all for offing them as soon as possible.  how long has it been since a major death?  maybe we need to get to know rosita a little more before she dies so we care.

I love Maggie and wish her nothing but happiness and a kid.  Her and Glenn both need one now that they're entering the safe zone.  Hope they still have the crib.

Yeah!  What about poor Dale?  I loved that old guy.  Sure, he was on death's door for a few issues but his actual death just occurred three issues ago.  I really did like the old fart and agreed with him on mnany of his arguments with Rick.  I'm not the biggest rick fan.  Now, Carl... I love Carl.  ANd hope Riick doesn't die anytime soon just because of the heartache it would cause the poor little guy.

i liked dale alot, too. he was rick's father figure. i think abe even said so. i was glad dale got to talk to rick before he died and was able to thank him for all that he has done.

Dale was someone who i had mixed feelings about.  But that's a compliment to Robert's writing.  I was mad at him for leaving the group at the prison before the Govenor's men and women stormed it the second time.  It took me awhile to warm back up to him.  But in the end, I miss him.  And I do agree with Cashel that he acted as a father figure to Rick at times.   Not always the best father figure but a father figure, none the less.  He just looked at things differently than Rick, but then again he was a tad older and getting around and fighting probably wasn't quite as easy.  So, its understandable that he would always want to stop travelling and settle down at an old farm house.  AND he was the one to warn Rick about Shane in the very beginning.

Back to Rosita, though, I do hope we get some more time with her in the safe zone.  On her own or with Abe.  I wouldn't mind a subplot starring her.  That's one of the things that excites me about our group's stay in Washington.  It will afford for more splittting off and therefore more subplots.   That's something I really enjoy about Invincible; is there are so many subplots dovetailing into eachother.   Up until now, our characters have all been in the same spot; close quarters.... not allowing for many individual character tangents.  I think the larger area and increased population will afford us more of these opportunities.  I wouldn't mind seeing one or some of the cast leaving the rest and starting up an adventure of his or her own.  I hope this all makes sense, I just got up and the coffee has yet to take affect.
