I dug up some older art of mine and starting reworking it, I will develop this over the next few days into a character study of future carl about age : 13-15 Hope you like, hey one day he will be alone I am just preparing you

I love it.  And I can see Carl learning how to swing the sword being as inlove as he is with Michonne.

i think he kills michonne and takes her place and her sword!!!!

better yet...michonne gets bit and wants to die before she turns so she hands the sword to carl ....essentially passing the torch and has him lop off her head.

I like that second idea!  Good artwork by the way.  I am so excited to see Carl grow up.  I know I keep saying that but as a fan of Savage Dragon (which moves in real time), it is cool to see the kids grow and take over the comic.  Though, it coud be argued that Carl has already done that to a degree.  I know that other than Abe, Carl is my favorite character.

Just wanted to bring this topic back into discussion. Given the circumstances of issue 83...
