Tobin goes to Douglas and explains he feels that Abe has earned his position on the Construction Crew after showing him as a coward and saving Holly.Tobin goes onto say that he welcomes Team Grimes's contribution to the community even if Douglas doesnt.

Rick offers one of the guns he and Glen took from the armoury to Andrea but she refuses,asking Rick why he would want to jeopardize their place in the Safezone.Ricks answers that he is doing it so things dont get screwed up and that he is also doing it as he feels this place is Carls last chance for a normal life,nearly letting slip about Carls execution of Billy

Gabriel conducts a service in the community's new Church,but after retiring to his room,breaks down crying,telling God he will never question his plans again and that God has a plan for him

Heath and Glenn head into Washington in search of drugs for a rapidly deteriorating Scott,only to be stopped dead in their tracks when a building rooftop they are about to jumps allyway  below that is usually empty,is full of Roamers and Lurkers.This makes the jump even more dangerous

Michonne and Rick go on patrol and she asks him if he has had a "talk" with Lori lately

Gabriel has one more chat with God,and deciding he has been told what must be done,visits Douglas.He then tells Douglas that while he is thankful for being allowed to live and be accepted into the Safezone,he feels that they have made a grave mistake in letting Rick and company in,saying they are not good people who came with Gabriel and have done horrible,unspeakable things and simply dont belong here.

Gabriel is a Son of a Bitch!  Like what he did was anymore forgiveable than what Rick and the others did!  It's called survival Preacher!

I loved Rick and Michonne walking the beat, exactly like how I envisioned it!  I have a feeling Gabriel is going to rat out Rick and Glenn.  Is #75 out yet?

Alright....this issue...

First of all, I just want to say I think it's awesome that Kirkman focused on a secondary character. With that said...

 I don't exactly think the things Gabriel did in this issue are entirely bad. Put yourself in his shoes; Gabriel watched Rick and co. mutilate and murder the shit out of the Hunters when really, it simply wasn't necessary to do so. A few quick shots to the head could have ended the whole thing.

So I don't think everything he did in this issue was unjustifiable, he is simply a confused preacher who wants God to forgive him for the terrible things he has done, he doesn't know what Team Grimes have been through, he doesn't know their reasoning behind the things they do. I think he feels the need to redeem himself by outing people who he thinks are a danger to him and the people around him.

And I don't blame him.

i see what you're saying, but Gabe also saw what the hunters did to team grimes and Dale.  if he objected to Rick and Co's punishing methods, then he could've walked at any time. in his own self interest, he remained with the group.  maybe that's one of the things he's begging forgiveness for.

the question is, is he blaming/ratting on all of team grimes, or just the few who slaughtered the hunters?  it doesn't seem too pious to get Sophia, maggie, etc cast out.

i just find it odd that someone could beg for forgiveness, but be incapable of giving it, or at least not be open to the possibility that rick and co. might regret what they did.

it is religion, though.  since when does it make sense to the rational?

and isn't it a spiritual leader's obligation to help others seek/find redemption, and now their own first?  Carl said it best, Gabe's a cunt.

I can't see it Gabes way.  He wants forgiveness then he needs to forgive others.  Though I would rather have Rick put a bullet in his head in all honesty.

I agree 100% with you zombiehero.... Rick is going to flip on him. 

I appreciate Woodbury Army's perspective but in Gabes case no one likes a tattle tale.

Also, I wonder if Michonne will "need" to take down her sword in the next issue?

It turns out that any retailer that orders #75 WILL get 1 copy of the varient, Then every 50 ordered after that will get another copy.

I live in shit burg michigan and I am one of three people that buy the walking dead in my area. The other two are deacon wich I live with and a guy I work with and I pick up his copy for him.

 The point of the story is my local shop owner will sell me the varient  for $ 9.99  any other shop will sell for like 50 buck according to the ratio and other stores I heard will make you buy 50 copies to get the damn thing and charge you for that too. I may be crazy but I got the small town hook up,  GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!!!!!

Lets just hope these SDCC orders we all made get shipped out.

I think Gabe's actions are completely self serving. He is only doing what he thinks will help him best.

Gabe's a fuckin punk ass bitch ass, pussy ass ho!!! (breathes) I wonder how he'd feel if Rick told Douglas how he left his whole congregation for dead while he boarded himself up in the church, I'd be much more fearful of that, then if he had to witness a bunch of CANNIBALS being murdered for devouring lord kows how many humans. I hope he gets his reaaaaaaaaally soon..
