The Walking Dead Fan Club

I am a die hard Walking Dead fan having read every single issue of the amazing series and am just as stoked for the tv series come October but what I am really looking forward to is for the comic book adaptation flood gates to open on cable tv once/if this series turns into an runaway hit.

I wonder how far behind other equally amazing series will follow suit: Scalped, Fables, 100 Bullets, Preacher, Criminal, Stray Bullets, etc;

I have every reason to suspect this follwoing Hollywood's blueprint!!!

What is Flood Gates about? Who writes/illistrates it?

I don't know about the rest (because I haven't read them,) but there is no way a comic as controvertial as Preacher will EVER make it to television. Could you imagine how many Christian zealots would protest and boycott whatever station aired it? And not only that, but how many sponsers they'd lose? It would be career suicide for whatever executive approved it.

Y: The Last Man would be another great one.  I could see that one on HBO
