I call bullshit on this one. I think Kirkman is fucking with our heads, and something totally different is going to happen because this looks just like the end of #48. Can't wait to read this arc.

Yea its not the end of the series but my question is who is it the end of?  I don't have a good feeling about Michonne right now for some reason.

Starve your fear, feed your life. You'll find that you might be completely different all together.

And then you'll decide which one you like better.

What the...?

Okay, I'm thinking it means the end of the Safe Zone, not the end of the series. But God, judging by this teaser, I think we may see every single person but Rick and Carl die. It sure looks that way.

so many what ifs, we can't jump to conclusions yet though. They make a lot of covers with characters in near death experiences and sometimes they don't happen in the comic.

Eww...Just noticed Rick's stump.

And, yeah, no way it's the end. Just a catch line to draw people in.

I'm gonna say that Rick, Carl, Sophia, Maggie, Heath, maybe Glenn, Abraham, and (shit I can't remember his name) the guy who brought them to the community, are definitely in the clear.

Michonne, Rosita, Eugene, Douglas, Spencer, and Pete's wife and kid are maybe safe. They're on the fence right now in my mind.

Everyone else is probably gonna definitely die. Mostly Gabriel, the treacherous little bastard.

Dudes, chill.  It's not the end of the series.  Kirkman won't kill everybody.  I'm 100% positive on this.  If I'm wrong I give Carl permission to moleste me.  Some people will die, a couple might be a surprise.  Rick and Carl will live as will Michonne.  Half the time these covers have nothing to do with what happens.

Other times the cover only shows part of the truth.  Yeah Tyreese, Lori, and Dale died but remember the cover with Andrea and her being shot in the head?  Remember the cover with a sword through Carl's stomach?  Remember the cover with the man in the riot gear being eaten by the zombies?  Did any of that actually happen?  No.  The cover with Lori wasn't even her actual death, it was her and Alice's backup plan to escape.

Everyone needs to turn back the dail on their reactions and step off the ledge to the crazy abyss.  Never buy 100% into these covers, 90% of the time they have little to nothing to do with the actual comic.

I'll say we get another wholesome family massacre like back at the prison, but it definintely ain't the end of the comic.

And I support your call. Kirkman wouldn't hype if he wasn't gonna do something big.

That'd be interesting, but I'm not sure where it would lead from there. I definitely want to see the group more confined again and more on the never safe side. Honestly the only people I really want to see survive are Rick, Carl, Michonne, Douglas, Sophia, And Andrea.

Screw it, leave almost everyone's fate unrevealed, then flash to 8 years later had have Carl and Sophia the main characters with a new cast, maybe some being the kids from Alexandria. Have it that one of the original adult survivors works kind of as they're mentor, and there arc would start of with them again being pushed out of a safe area by zombies and a not yet revealed antagonist who is actuallly one of the original survivors, or a group of them, gone mad and are now hunting all humans in a quasi-religious cleansing of the earth. Carl at the age of 15 as the leader of a new group of survivors in a semi-repopulated world that is always at bay with the zombie hordes that inhabit most of the earth, and the group trying to destory them. It would be epic!!!!..................Or maybe Kirkman could just kill of most of Alexandria and then the remainders of the group move on to another area of safety....That works to....

How about we just flash forward to 50 years in the future.  The zombies are gone and Carl is a fat ass loser sitting in his recliner as Sophia bounds around the house in a straight jacket spurtin out jibberish.  He grows so tired of his boring life and his ungrateful kids who are just as messed as him and decides to end it all by releasin Zombie Rick from the closet he's been hiding him in and let's his dad devour him.  The end
