Did anyone else choke up or tear up during this scene, or came close to?

I know I did. Man, what a great actor.

There is a couple scenes that were very emotional, I think because we are already attached to these characters.

I thought this was the best scene of the entire episode.   I loved the cutting back and forth of Morgan and Rick shooting the half-zombie.  Great stuff and the  music didn't hurt.  The season looks great.

I got choked up, however I was at my friends which was full of people, so I had to hold back. Haha!

Great scene, and great episode. I love it.

ohh yess! That scene, Rick shooting Bicycle Girl,  and the 'is this real' scene with Rick a the beginning...the entire show was fantastic, but those scenes had me all misty-eyed.

great stuff!!!! i think the scene with morgan being unable to shoot his wife sets up his character for the later realization that he (SPOILER) keeps duane as a zombie in his shed

I seen the show 5 times already and I got choked up every time. Morgan was awesome! The "is this real" part was a tear jerker also.

I enjoyed this version of Morgan.  Quite different than the comic version but interesting nonetheless.  I hope this convinces Kirkman to utilize him more in the current crop of Walking Dead isssues.   I've always found him to be an interesting character.  More than just a lay for Michonne.

Who knows, maybe Kirkman just salvaged Morgan's name from the body count for the No Way Out arc. "I can't, I can't! It's the 'fro!"

Yea it was great how they built up his character a bit more into his reasons of why he does what he does.

I agree with moogley, best scene for the episode! It was better then watching the leak verison minus the commercials. I can't wait to see how the rest of the season turns out..

just watched the episode this morning before work. You know you have a problem when you wake up 2 hours before you have to , just to watch TV lol. This was amazing,  the morgan scene was phenomenal.

I just watched it this morning because I was away on a cruise when it aired originally and just got back late last night. So I had to wait a few more days to see it.. On a positive note, my zombie mechanic costume won the Halloween contest on the Ship.

Starve your fear, feed your life. You'll find that you might be completely different all together.

And then you'll decide which one you like better.

scariest scene in the episode in my opinion.  That doorknob resonated.  Great direction what with Rick's eyes turning downward noticing it.  Like the rest of the pilot, great stuff.  I hope this series continues for a LONG time.

And I wouldn't mind if it would help get a Dead world movie made, but that's just me and my obsessive nature.
