I know a lot of you don't like change but I am not really changing the dynamics of the site, I am just changing the way the news is introduced, the URL and some of the site visualy. So these next couple days the site will be morphing around a little is all, any crits or comments diuring the change is always good. I also wanted to share with you the very first site logo I ever used for this place,lol..any comments on the new one? I think it may be too busy, let me know guys.

i think the current one is great.  the old one lacks symmetry.

I'd agree that the logo looks a little too busy (it kind of reminds me of a leopard print). I think something a lil cleaner and sleeker would serve the site well. I also wouldn't mind seeing a few more than four listed under "recent forum posts" on the right side.  I feel like forum topics sort of get lost when they drop off the front page.

i dont mind the new logo, the aurbushing effect takes away from the letters though

Cleaner logo is always best. Why not make up a few samples and have some sort of test group vote. I did that with an older site I ran a few years back and it came out pretty good.
