It was definitely a good one, the chat here was a positive enhancement.

spoiler warning...

i have a feeling merle did not steal the truck. not sure who but i am pretty sure he cant drive in his condition, if he is even alive. the whole cut off his hand is bothering me. it would make this hard to watch, yaknow?

the final part was pretty epic, glad some of the unsavory people got nommed on, but not the rest.

every episode makes me want to read the comics more.

I too thought this was a great episode.... though the acting at times did get me a little hung up.

Sad to see Amy go. For some reason, even though in the comics she had barely any presence, she had been a character that has stuck with me. I was almost hoping that they would keep her around a little longer. Interested to see just what the damage is going to be for next episode... I tried to watch it a second time to see who bit the bullet but I only picked out three randoms who I couldn't really place plus Ed. I'm not sure if we have basically been thinned down to the comic cast, plus Daryl, T-Dawg and Morales' family? Jacqui is listed on IMDB for one more episode but I didn't see her at the end so I'm not sure if she is still around.

Maybe I'm looking too much into things? Oh well. I have to entertain myself with something until next week.

What a BRILLIANT episode. Bravo, Mr. Kirkman.

Let me just say that, I HATE having read the comics and know what happens to Jim. The guy playing him right now made him one of my favorite characters on the show.

At first I was unsure of the whole "Survivors vs Gang members" thing, but since Kirkman wrote it, I knew it was going to be great. Which it was.

I honestly loved the twist. It almost made me cry, to be honest. If there was to ever be a spin-off series, I'd LOVE to follow that group of people around.

Let me just say "Holy shit" to the entire ending few minutes. The greatest thing I've ever see on TV, and they handled Amy so well. So. Fucking. Well.

Kirkman did good with the script on this one. Every scene at least had some kind of connection to it's conclusion. I liked Jim digging and didn't really know why and then the very end of the episode he goes on how he remembers. Brilliant, Good to see them build up his character a little bit before he goes off,

Merle not stealing the truck makes sense. I mean other wise he'd have beat Rick and Co. back to the camp. He seems more like the kind of person that would go straight there to enact his vengence rather than plan it out and wait.

It was a great episode, and I agree, Kirman wrote the hell out of that one.

Like the search party finding Merle's cauterization hamburger weight with grissle still on it was a great touch. And it was awesome that some characters finally got bit.

I'm actually liking that when my non-comic reading friends ask me what's going to happen next, I don't have an answer. there's definitely enough added in the TV version to keep me guessing.

One of my fave episodes by far!

The whole twist with the Gangbangers looking after the old folks was awesome but also kinda sad.

Anyone else wonder what the fuck they are gonna do if one of them old codgers dies and comes back?!

Amy-What else can be said?I honestly thought she wasnt going to die,and the weird thing is,it hit me way harder than that comic panel ever did.I actually had my heart on my chest when they were biting her and couldnt believe what was happening.

Glad Ed got munched on.He had it coming.Cunt.

Anyone else wondering if Andrea shoots Amy and if Jim got bit?

Kinda wanted to see Carl shoot a gun!

In the teaser for next week Jim says to someone, "Please. don't tell anybody."

He's bitten for sure.

Oh really?Wow!

I hope they keep the whole finding his family thing still.

Did anyone else think when Amy got bit on the arm "maybe they will cut it off and save her"?

I'm pretty sure the one he's talking about was at the end of the episode last night - when they show the teasers for 'next week on The Walking Dead...'.  If you happen to have it on DVR, just fast forward to the end.

I've heard elsewhere, people speculating that Merle brought back the walkers that attacked the camp from Atlanta in the truck, to get revenge on the people who left him.  I don't think that though, it doesn't make much sense to me (too risky with his brother still being part of camp, and too difficult to be herding zombies with the blood loss).

I think Merle stole the truck, but didn't head to camp.  I'm thinking he wants revenge, but that he needs time to rest and recover a little first - so he's hiding out in the truck somewhere else for now (I can see him being enough of a badass that he's still killing zombies at this point, despite the blood loss, but not being enough of a badass that he could stroll into camp and take on T-Dog, Rick, Morales, etc in his current condition).

I wasn't really feeling it too much early on, but it picked up at the end.  The boat scene with Andrea and Amy felt forced and awkward to me - Guillermo's acting was pretty much terrible (I literally cringed when he delivered the line about one of his guys getting an arrow in the ass) - I'm still deciding how I felt about the stand off scene in general (some elements of it I enjoyed, but others I found silly).

Jim was awesome.  I really enjoyed his character in this episode.  Daryl was great too, and when he called Glen a "Chinaman" I couldn't help but think of Epic Beard Man, lol.  Glen, as usual, was brilliant - I loved the scene where he made the map to plot out the strategy for getting the gun bag.

And the ending, oh the sweet, sweet ending - just incredible.
