The Walking Dead Fan Club

Anyone ever read it. I just ordered it from Amazon and all the reviews said it makes the walking dead look like a childrens book. I cant wait to get it and see if it lives up to the hype.

Crossed is the most messed up comic I have ever read, It is real good if you are a sicko, lol. It is very graphic and evil. I loved it and look forward to the new series coming out.

I just read that they were planning on making it into a movie, but from everything I read about it i dont even see how thats possible. Any other similar comics you can recomend?

Check out the Boys by Ennis it's pretty off the hook too.

agreed, Also I usually don't read mainstream anymore but that new xforce with deadpool and wolverine is off the fucking chain!

Crossed is currently in it's third series! Issue 1 of Psychopath came out a couple of months ago. Unfortunately Avatar Press can be very slow with release dates, but Issue 2 should be out sometime in the next couple of weeks. I'd say it's worth the wait because the first issue was amazing.

The series before Psychopath is called Family Values. The TPB of Family Values comes out in what you guys over the pond call Fall (: If you like the first series it's worth picking it up, although it isn't a continuation of any sort, it's just another story of survival (the same applies to Psychopath).

Also, after Psychopath there is another series coming out called Badlands & there is also a 3D story coming out. It's taking a long time to make the 3D version because there's some sort of problem with the printing but it looks like it's going to be brilliant.

Oh man how could I forget about Ennis Punisher Max series. Hardcore. It's what the Punisher was always meant to be.

I prefer the Walking Dead because of the art and it's character development. But what I do like about the Crossed as opposed to TWD is the lack of a moral play. It's straight up and too the point. It gets done in a frame or two which takes Kirkman and Adlard a page of an agonising Rick.

Thats easily the worst aspect of the series and it was something that 'Black Gas' an altogether inferior read also succeeded in doing well. Generally speaking the one on one dialogue between people is about equal.

It's just Kirkmans over indulgence in some aspects that have let it down. I think thats why Crossed may just well become more popular than the TWD with a bit more exposure in the future. There's plot and character development but theres also needless schmaltz! I  hope Carl buys it truth be told.
