the description to #95 mentions the G-word.  I'm getting pretty stoked for this arc.

no preview as of yet.

and the 95 description says something to the effect of "will so and so be the new governor" or something like that.

sigh, don't tell me the comic is going to the wayside like the show

As a Hero I used to fight on the side for good. I learned it's boring. Being a villainous hero is much more fun!

If it's true that they are rehashing old plots than I believe that Kirkman's got to much on his plate.

Hey there. Yeah hero I worry about the story arcs. Indeed...why not end with this group of survivors and start with another entirely different group at episode 100?

Maybe Kirkman should also get other writers in? Ennis did this successfully with crossed!

Well I am getting a hint of old story lines, but until this arc is complete I won't say anything about it. I trust Kirkman enough and believe he has something great coming our way, so I'll just enjoy the ride until it's over to find out

ahh..ok, there we go.  Got home, checked 'em out.

I TOTALLY agree with andrea on this.  I thought Rick was out of line detaining this new guy.  I understand that the last time they met a "new" community, people lost hands and lots of bad things happened (and a BOOK was even written about the guy).  But, then when the group was on their own again, they meet up with a guy (I can't remember his name) and they find this new walled community.  I never believed this group was the only survivers, but the comment I would have added to Rick's was, "We know we're not the only survivors...we just don't know where everyone else is".

Rick had options to bring a strong group with with this guy and check this place out from a distance.  There were so many other opportunities to get this accomplished.  If this guy is saying there are 200 people in his community...than a "small" community like this one (how many people are in this walled up community?  I thought it was som'n like 50 or so people?).  It's not like Rick's lil walled in community would have any competition in the matter.  I know he's being extra cautious...but frig, at least make small plans to check it out before you get rash about things.

I don't think Kirkman is rehashing old plots quite yet.  I'm going to predict that Rick becomes the governor.  I see the other community sending out a larger scout group to see what happened to their original scout and Rick capturing them and torturing them.   I think Rick has taken so much psychological damage over the last year that he will view anyone outside the current walled community as a threat  (and who can blame him..)

I'm not agreed with the Gerth Ennis example, when he left crossed, it stop being the same comic.. became too much gory and veeery sick.. abusing too much  int the gory drawinf isntead of the story. The last one, crossed psychopat was just too morbid and veery sick.. i know  crossed is about gore and disturbing stories but they took  it to a level where is just disgusting to read it or try to follow

I hope kirkman get good ideas from his advisors and the fans  to get TWD as good as it used to be

About  the first 5 pages of TWD 93... I agreed that Rick could manage it in a different way  just try to be the nice guy but at teh same time  taking all safety measures, sooner or later the other communities will know where they are  so better be diplomatic and be prepare because theres no way out

and where are all the zombies??  Ye don't see any roamers/walkers outside while they're talking on the cars.  I almost feel like the deeper they go into these story lines, the less zombies we see until something major bad happens and then rick's all alone again and surrounded by zombies again, then meets a new party and stuff happens and less zombies and stuff.  I want more zombies.

The preview proved what I have long known to be true. Rick Grimes beats Jesus in a fight any day.

Rick may be acting rashly, but his leadership skills are being tested, hes got a lot of peoples lives on the line now and we aren't sitting back wondering What Would Jesus Do? This is WWRD. And I'm with him all the way.
