and the plot thickens, really wondering if kirkman is becoming a major douche now or wat, him and tony have been workin for years together, i mean it does say tony signed a contract knowing what it said but im just not big on kirkman right now

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Kirkman, repped by attorney Allen Grodsky, writes:

"The lawsuit is ridiculous, we each had legal representation seven years ago and now he is violating the same contract he initiated and approved and he wants to misrepresent the fees he was paid and continues to be paid for the work he was hired to do. Tony regularly receives payment for the work he did as penciler, inker and for gray tones on the first six issues of The Walking Dead comic series and he receives royalties for the TV show, to assert otherwise is simply incorrect."

this is kinda sad, man. i would think Tony is still making royalty from every volume 1 or issues 1-6 sold. but i could be wrong.

He should be getting royalties for a lot more than that, they have not paid him and then duped him int osiging over and still don't pay him anything and refuse to let him look at books. Kirkman is screwing over an old friend for money, happens a lot when these guys start actually making big money in comparison to before. I mean Kirkman is starting to slap TWD on any products.

Yeah Iwes I wonder about Kirkman myself. His endorsements of a woefully melodramatic TV show are worrying not to mention aspects of his story writing which have annoyed me from time to time in the TWD. I think that the latest episode was the best by a country mile. Bar having Lori get killed. Her character is a real pain in the ass.
