Euge redeemed himself a little bit, IMO. Abe's death didn't really hit me right away, until 3 re-readings later. Rick's group better mow down the Saviors that got away before they report the Alexandria community location.

Abe's death didn't get to me. I and others here were expecting it. He was already a dead man in my eyes.

There was about a dozen or so in that group of saviors? Plus about 5 or 6 in the motorcycle group. I get the impression that this was only a fraction of the force the saviors can muster, and that their 9 or so casualties was a set back, but not a marjor one. That means they have a fucking army somewhere out there. A competent assault force should be able to breach the walls without going the old "let us in or we kill your friend" shtick which never fucking works with team Grimes. Team Grimes, on the other hand, is down to three hardcore warriors (Rick, Michonne and Andrea) and half a dozen or so second string figthers (Glenn, Heath, Holli, Eugene, apparently and a few others, Spencer?) Not looking good.
