Ok,you have been warned-MAJOR SPOILERS! I feel majorly sick and upset right now:( Rick,Michonne,Heath,Glenn,Carl,Sophia and Maggie leave Alexandria and head to Hill Top for backup,they stop off for the night and Michonne keeps watch Back at Alexandria,Spencer tells Andrea that he's happy for her and Rick while the others mourn the recently deceased and check their ammo supply. Rick takes up watch and is lassooed off the van by the Saviours who quickly signal Negan. Negan appears and orders everyone ouut the van.He then proceeds to tell them that they will now work for him and his people,giving up supplies etc otherwise they will be punished. Negans pretty pissed with Rick for killing so many of his men so decides theu must be punished but he doesnt wanna kill them. Negan introduces them to his baseball bat "Lucille" which has barbed wire wrapped around her.He then plays a game of "eenie,meenie,minie,mo" with Ricks crew as to who will get punished. I t lands on Glenn.Negan brings the bat down on Glenns head and cracks his skull,forcing his eye to pop out his socket.Glenn tries to call Maggie then Negan keeps hitting him,totally fucking up Glenns face. Glenn calls after Maggie,Negan doesnt stop hitting.Beating Glenns head to a bloody pulp while Ricks Crew all cry their eyes out. Rick says he will kill Negan,Negan doesnt seem to care and tells Rick that we cant win against them and that this is the new world order. The Saviours depart,leaving Ricks crew with Glenns battered and broken body | |

Member Posts: 6 | Eyeballs popped out! Sweet mother that is gross! I had a feeling Lucille would be the bat. He's holding it on one of the covers. Didn't imagine barbed wire though. Awesome spoilers! I don't mind them, I'll still read the entire thing even knowing what happens. | |

really bad... I guess after that they will head to hilltop to see if Glenn can be save there.. or he was death when Negan left? the 40 pages were about the incident in the van and Glenns beating or it also develope other parts of the story? I guess Merle and Daryl wont show up in the comic (thank God) | |

My daughter who has been reading the book for 3 years starting balling her eyes out when she read this, and yeah im getting ready to read the actual issue and I will let you know how I feel about it when I get back, ...oh boy! | |

hi Carl it is very sad and brutal what happened to Glenn but even if he is one of the best supporting characters of TWD I dont think this will be actually "one of the darkest moments in Rick Grimes' life" (Drak moments i count the death of Lori and Shane's unborn child and when Carl got shot in the eye) and even if Negan had no mercy with him i still think it is at the same level of violence as how Michone was torture by the governor or how Jessie and Ron end being ate by the zombies and even Rick cutting her hand ... but maybe those events were not as graphical as Glenns I did expect more from issue 100 since it is 40 pages and many of us even tought more than 1 character will die in this issue (die in other ways but as brutal as Glenn did) I dont know if i should say im a little dissapointed by Kirkman ... I prefer to read first the whole issue 100 ... | |

UGH...I hesitated a lot...then read up to:

But, I got more tease than I wanted out of skimming your comments. I didn't get enough from the spoilers to truly "ruin" it for myself...gotta be patient and wait for the .cbr download. It's VERY tempting to read the spoilers fully and yer comments....but I'm gonna resist...

Member Posts: 1 | That was tough to read - I'm sure it will be worse to see in the comic. I feel hollowed out a little bit with Glenn's death - I liked Glenn a lot and he is also one of my favorite characters on the TV series. So sounds like the rest of them are at the mercy of Negan which is not good - I'm getting a little bit tired of our group getting beat up on by bullies - it might not have as much emotional impact but I would have preferred to see Ricks group and Alexandria really kick some ass and come out of this relatively unscathed as far as major characters go for once. This sets the stage for some major, major pay back in the near future I would assume. I have really enjoyed the comic up to this point but there is just something about the direction of the story at this juncture that is really turning me off - and I have never felt that way about TWD before. My enthusiam for the story is pretty low at this point but may be I will come around - I hope so because I have loved the story up to this point. The stupidity of Rick leaving Alexandria after he had humiliated Negans group once on the road then again outside of Alexandria is almost to much for me to take. It just seems so contrived - the only reason for it is to send them out unprotected to get intercepted like this. It's taking me out of the story and actually making me thing about the writers writing it more than the characters in it. And the fact that they were outside of Alexandria stalking them and having killed Abraham - Rick and everyone could plainly see that they were being watched. Its just so stupid I can't even buy it - its just to contrived - bah! I don't really care about any of Ricks group anymore - their all idiots - I'm rooting for Negans group to kill them all - then we can follow the Saviours - they seem more interesting to me at this point. Bash all of their skulls in and get it over with - Andrea will probably decide its a good time to open the front gates to Alexandria in the morning and go out and try and find a 4 leafed clover. If after all these characters have been through the writers are all of sudden going to turn them in to complete dumb-sh@ts why should I care about them? | |

Yeah Glenns def dead,his skull looks like a smashed pumpkin.I hope that when and if they ever kill Nega,it will be with Maggie using his own bat on him | |

I was expecting a heck of a lot more deaths and or violence too given how hyped its been (kirkman bragging about how its going to be a bloodbath and even bigger than the prison battle). I'm feeling disappointed.... | |

Not really-theres probably 3 to 4 pages back at Alexandria with Andrea then alot of talking with Negan while he fuck with the survivors of Ricks group | |
