Im excited and worried about this in equal measures. Graphic novels tend to get fucked over or changed when produced for "commercial" viewing.
The only way this would work is if Robert wrote the screenplay and had a very strong say in casting/story/etc. This is somthing,if done right,that could be amazing. Hopefully the gore wont be toned down.... If youve seen Deadset,then youll know a TV show can be gory AND good! | |

Watch Breaking Bad on AMC. It really doesn't pull punches. They are very hands off with the creators of their original shows. God I hope this happens. Darabont is a master. | |

Very true. And you can get a lot of violent stuff through, if you're creative. Darabont can do that and keep things scary. Watch the B&W version of THE MIST the spider scene is 10 time more intense then in color. | |

My guess would be that us hard core fans, having read the book for years, might not like the show as much as a new comer. But at any rate, I will def be tuning in!! I wonder when the air date is?? | |
