If you like to cook this thread is for you. I love to cook. I thought we could share some recepies we each other that we like and try them out. So get to it!

Allright this is a great afternoon snack with some fruit punch or your favorite beer.

Hollywoods Tostadas

Ingrediants:

4 6-inch corn tortillas, 4 tsp olive oil, 1 small onion chopped, 1 jalapeno seeded and finely chopped, 1 clove garlic minced, 1 cup canned black beans rinsed, 1 cup seeded chopped tomato, 1 cup Monterey jack cheese, 2 tsp chopped cilantro, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper, 1/2 lime

1. Heat oven to 425 F. Lightly brush bost sides of tortillas with 1 tsp of the olive oil and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake about 3 min per side until crisp and lightly browned.

2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat 3tsp oil over medium-high heat. Add onion, jalapeno and garlic; cook until onion is tender. Stir in black beans and tomato. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Squeeze juice out of half the lime into the mixture and heat through.

3. Sprinkle tortillas with half of the cheese and top with bean mixture. Sprinkle evenly with the remaining cheese. Bake 4 min or until cheese is melted and sprinkle with cilantro.

this is easy man anyone can do this. trust me it is worth the try.

Put bread in toaster.

Turn to medium setting.

Take out toasted bread.

Butter and Serve.

Ooooh, you put the bread in the toaster? That's what I've been doing wrong.
